Koh Nang Yuan, Surat Thani province: The ultimate private island in the Gulf of Thailand.

Hi guys, after I talked about Phangan island and mentioned about how you can travel from Nang Yuan island. Well, here you go, today I’m going to talk about Koh Nang Yuan or Nang Yuan island, so follow me, curious cat and Magnifier Thailand team.
     Koh Nang Yuan or Nang Yuan island, the beauty wonderful paradise, known as one of ten beautiful island in the world. That’s right guy’s world ranked recognition. Nang Yuan island consists of three islands linked together by lovely white sand along with clear blue sea, create three awesome private bay for tourists to gain their ultimate experience.
     The area surrounding island you will see reefs and clownfish swim around looking for “P Sherman 42 wallaby way Sydney” haha. Beside the reefs and clownfish, there is a hilltop that you can enjoy sunset and rise. This is one of the unique characters of Nang Yuan island that you can find it here and not anywhere else in the world.



     What make Nang Yuan island ranked one of the most beauty in the world is the pure natural scenery compare with other islands. This island is going to make you feel like celebrity.
Nang Yuan island is located to the north of the Tao island. If you look at the map Nang Yuan island is hanging of the tip of Tao island. Tao in Thais word mean turtle, since Nang Yuan is at the tip of Tao island it look like a tail of the Tao (turtle) island. The distinctive character of Nang Yuan island is three small islands that full of rocks and all of them are connected with beautiful white sand you can see it from the map as well. The three islands are facing each other and it has one big island and other two small ones. You can find piers, restaurants and place to stay which is Nang Yuan Dive Resort. This is the only hotel you can find at Nang Yuan island.
     Once you get here, the first thing you should do is walking around enjoy the view and weather. The three spots you do not want to miss are scenic Island spot, sandbar connects the island, and snorkeling. First, you may choose to visit the scenic spot which is located on the left side of the island. The trail leading to that spot is a well build cement staircase and it should take about fifteen minutes to reach to the top. Seems like a long walk but the view will make you forget about the time.



      This spot, where you can see the whole three islands view. After that you can swim at the beach or lay and relax on the beach canvas bed that they have along the shore and maybe some selfie time.
Other interesting activity is kayaking and diving to see coral reef. Because of the island has various coves that help block the wind, it make the kayak is one of the fun activity you all should try. For other who enjoy diving, Nang Yuan island offers a diving lessons and guided tours. The diving lesson that offers is a scuba diving. The diving lessen and tour guide are offering both in scuba and snorkeling.

Diving at Nang Yuan island

Divers from all over the world, would make Nang Yuan island to be one of their diving list. Due to the munificent sceneries, warm crystal blue current and various kind of corals and sea creatures. These are make many diver whether immature or professional divers would love to come down here and experience for themselves.
The diving spot that you can enjoy are indeed, Nang Yuan and Tao islands, these consider a perfect spot for all divers. What make it great become awesome is you guys can have a great diving on your doorstep. Like I mentioned Nang Yuan and Tao islands are offers the stunting view with beautiful coral reefs and fish. The best time to visit the island.

Nang Yuan island is opening all year round, but the best time of the year is going to be around February – April, because around August and September will be the time when most of tourists hit the island. The November – January will be a hurricane season. All and all, I would urge you guys to check the weather before your trip.

How to get there.

Most of tourists rather to go to Nang Yuan island from Toong Ma Kharm Noi bay, Chumphon province. Due to the shorter route than travel from Surat Thani province. Besides, it more convenient.
