Chinese New Year is getting closer and closer so I would like to talk about this festival. It is awesome, and I will tell you why. The celebration of Chinese descent in Yaowarat (Chinatown Bangkok) is considering the largest festival in the world. Consists of the Golden Road the place where you can find all kind of delicious authentic Chinese food and merchandises. 


At the festival it will have the traditional performance of Thai and Chinese such as show playing Guzheng and Chinese opera. In this day, people and road will decorate with auspicious lanterns as well as the booths where authentic Chinese food and merchandises will be selling at this festival. But wait, there is more, they will have Chinese cinema (tradition and modern), exhibition like “remember Chinatown Bangkok” Most of people will wear cloth that have red color, to believe the red is the color of luck.

The ultimate celebration of Chinese New Year in Thailand at the Dragon Road (Maung Gorn road) Chinatown Bangkok; The Chinese New Year here will start with pray to Chinese gods for luck, wealth, and health. At night there will be the lion and dragon dance show; where the group of people wear the lion or dragon costume and imitate the creatures, old believe it bring luck to the audients who watch it.
